Explosion Claims 3 Carabinieri While Executing Property Removal Operation in Northern Italy
Three police officers perished and no fewer than 15 additional individuals were hurt in a seemingly intentional blast caused by gas at a rural property in the northern part of Italy.

The blast occurred as officers and emergency crews entered the property close to the Verona region to carry out an eviction order for a brother and sister trio aged in their 50s and 60s.
Each of the three victims who died served in the Carabinieri military police.
Arrests and Aftermath
One male and one female got detained at the scene and one more individual who ran away following the explosion was found soon after. All three have been transported to hospital.
The blast could be heard approximately 5 kilometers away and photographs from the location revealed the structure reduced to a heap of debris.
