However, the Heat were focused as they put up 86 first-half scores to be ahead of Memphis by 39 after two quarters, the biggest half-time advantage in the franchise's 37-year history.
Adebayo top-scored with 24 scores and afterwards stated Terry had the support of the team.

Miami head coach Spoelstra commented: "Rozier is a person who is very dear to everyone. He's had a real positive impact on our locker room.
"Our thoughts are with him and support for him as he faces this."
The Trail Blazers additionally secured their first game since the arrests, with Brazil-born Tiago Splitter taking over as temporary head coach in Chauncey's non-attendance and leading the squad to a decisive 139 to 119 victory over the Warriors.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver 'Disturbed' by Arrests
Addressing the detentions for the first time, NBA commissioner Silver stated he was "very upset" by the incidents of the recent days.
"Nothing is more critical to the league and supporters than the integrity of the competition," he informed a broadcaster. "Therefore I had a pit in my stomach. It was very upsetting."
The commissioner also said an NBA investigation into Rozier's conduct in spring 2023, when there was "unusual wagering" in a match he played for the Hornets versus the New Orleans Pelicans, discovered no wrongdoing.
"It was brought to our attention by the regulators and the betting companies," he added.
"We then looked into that situation and were open about it. And while there was that aberrational betting, we, honestly, couldn't find anything.
"The federal government has subpoena power... [it] can impose penalties, can do all kinds of things that the league office is unable to.
"Therefore, we've been cooperating from that point. And, of course, what they revealed yesterday was an indictment.
"Moreover two and a half years after, he still hasn't been convicted of anything, in justice to Rozier.
"Clearly, it appears unfavorable, but he's been suspended, and so it is a balance here between upholding rights and conducting an inquiry."
