Community Response
Community members assembled over the past few days at the high school in West Virginia to honor Beckstrom.
Both they had been fulfilling duties with the West Virginia National Guard as part of Trump’s national effort to support law enforcement in Washington DC.

“She was the type of pupil that educators wished for. She behaved with inner fortitude, a bright grin and a optimistic attitude that encouraged those around her,” Hankins, the head of Beckstrom’s previous school, stated to the press. “She was caring, considerate and always willing to help others.”
Funeral plans for Sarah are yet to be finalized.

The airman, a native of the city, began his service in 2019 and is a graduate of Musselman High, as reported by the AP.
He remains under medical supervision and is “fighting for his life”, the state’s governor the governor mentioned on Fox News Channel’s The Sunday Briefing.
